Amidst all of the political uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the current ‘deadlock’ at Number 10, the possibility of a ‘snap’ election is something that could be on the cards for this year, with Ladbrokes having odds of 11/8 that the UK will see a general election in 2019.
Following the announcement of any a snap parliamentary election, Latcham Direct are always in a ‘state of readiness’ – standing by to accommodate customer requirements for postal votes, ballot papers and poll cards.
When the UK Parliamentary General Election (UKPGE) was called for 8 June 2017, Latcham Direct were ready and prepared. Our team of experts, who have over 25 years experience, were available to mobilise and ensure that all of our EROs and Electoral officers were called, to ensure that they aware we were in ‘election mode’. All stationery was ordered and timetables provided so that all parties were clear on when and how the delivery of each component was going to be received. We understand that preparing for any snap election will present certain challenges for local councils across the UK and work with them as ‘partners’ and an extension of their own service.
In the event of a snap election, Latcham Direct can provide all customer printing requirements:
- We are a professional, reliable and trusted electoral print and mail supplier.
- Our customer satisfaction is unrivalled.
- We are accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, along with Cyber Essentials Plus.

If Brexit negotiations mean that we end up with the same outcome in 2019, the team at Latcham Direct are more than prepared – we are ready and waiting to hit the ground running, and will work with you to deliver what you need.
